Media Provacateurs
Since the 4th of July (our time) when the North Koreans sent up some missiles, it seems like the U.S. news media from FOX to NPR have been trying to whip up a hostile situation, using such terms as unease, brink, retaliate, etc. to alarm the public. Does the media like to do news about war or the potential of war or not? Doesn't the Israeli/Palestinian situation give them enough to talk about? What I would like to know is what the North Korean press is saying about the missile tests or what they are not saying. This would tell us more about their dictator's intentions than the speculation by the U.S. news media.
