Why Is It?

Why is it that brats are sold 5 to a package and brat buns are sold 6 to a package? Wouldn't you think the makers of brats and the bakers of buns could get their acts together? This is one of the minor incongruities of life that you would think could have been worked out in the hundreds of years that both products have been around.
